Main Idea - Elizabeth Blackwell wanted to become a doctor.
Supporting Idea - She worked and saved money for two years she wrote to the best medical schools in the country, asking to be admitted. pg. 67
Supporting Idea - She became the first woman doctor in America.

Main Idea- Elizabeth Blackwell wanted to become a doctor and help the poor.
Supporting Detail- She wanted to be accepted to a medical school, she wanted to study hard, and wanted to graduate from medical school.
