Victoria Woodhull

Victoria had to take a stand as she ran for president.

What are some things you think she said to defend and persuade her listeners?

Write her persuasive argument.

That maybe it doesn't have to be just men to do everything. Women can do things men can do. Be a doctor, lawyer, etc. You can't stop a person from who they want to be. That's not how life goes. Since Victoria wanted to be the President of the U.S. she had to work for it. And she did. Like those other women fought for their freedom. What was right and what was wrong they said it right to the face's of men.

I think sh ewould have said something along the lines of:
Women can do everything men can equally, if not better. We will fight for womens equality. Women are and will be from here on out equal to men.

I think she would have said something like all women are equal to me and can do what men can do just, because we look different doesn't mean we shouldn't be treated equally. I think we are all the same in every way and girls can become everything a boy can. I believe women can make their own choices and are very much hard-working just as men. But enough about girls, I believe that I will be a great president and help the united states a better place for all races and genders.

some of the things she might have said would be something like "women are equal to men it would be blasphemy to say otherwise."

I think she would of said something like anything that man can do women can do to but men need to give women a chance.
