Write a list of characters and a description of the character using the page numbers if you take information from the text, list any settings (specific) and the page number, give a brief overview of the plot, and describe the type of conflict and the participants of the conflict.

immune to other peoples thoughts

Setting: Geneva, New York pg. 67
Plot: Elizabeth was a woman in love with another man, whom she could not have. She said no to his proposal sadly. Afterwards, a friend of hers became very sick and Elizabeth aided her with the best care she had. Elizabeth was really good at it and her friend convinced of becoming a WOMAN doctor. Woman doctor were not very common at the time so Elizabeth had to figure out how she was supposed to do this. She then started asking doctors for advice, but some of them said that she was foolish for even trying to become a doctor. So she insisted on going to medical school. She saved up money from teaching piano and she began asking medical schools to bring her in. Not a single one accepted her. She was then finally brought to school whom they let her in by voting. They said yes as a joke and to see what she does. Elizabeth came and studied with them. The men were shocked. She did her best in the exams and she graduated head of the class. She then became the first woman doctor of America.

Setting: New York City (pg.67)

She is a very intelligent woman who was known as "Crazy" but not in a weird way but for her ideas.
Plot: she had wanted to become a doctor so she did her studies and tried her hardest. she was very successful but no hospital wanted her. she kept applying and applying and finally one hospital excepted her and she became the first female doctor.
Conflict: It was between her and society. she had to keep trying with people in her ear and she needed people to accept the fact that she was a girl who can do certain things some girls can't and her hard work paid off.

Setting: New York (Geneva)
Plot: She had an arranged marriage but, she didn't love the man so she declined it. She later started to take care of other people, she discovered that caring for others was her passion. She studied and finally became the first women doctor. She struggled finding/applying to get a job until one hospital finally accepted her.
Conflict: Character VS Society
Because she was doubted by many and she kept going and finally found herself a job.
